Change Default Language of App Under Mac OS

  If you set the display language to Chinese, and language of some apps, like Safari, becomes to other language, this article will help you.

1. Run Terminal, please make sure the language has been set to Chinese.
2. If you want to open this app in Chinese all the time, please run this:

[[email protected] ~]$ open -a /Applications/<your_app> --args -AppleLanguages '(zh-CN)'
  1. If you want to set Chinese as your default language, please run:
[[email protected] ~]$ defaults write  [bundle id] AppleLanguages '(zh-CN)'

For example:

defaults write com.coderforart.MWeb3 AppleLanguages '(zh-CN)'

You can get bundle id by following command:

[[email protected] ~]$ mdls -name kMDItemCFBundleIdentifier _path_to_app_
